The kit includes four pairs of shields — all the same universal size. Within the mix, there are two matte and two glossy textures.
Shape & Structure:
The Moon Shields have a teardrop shape with a gentle protrusion at the base, designed to lift the lashes upward for a natural yet noticeable curl. This structure makes them especially effective for shorter lashes, helping achieve maximum lift from root to tip. They’re considered a universal shield, meaning they adapt easily to most eye shapes and lash lengths.
Material & Flexibility:
Made from a firmer silicone, these shields hold their shape well and provide excellent control during wrapping. Between the two finishes, the glossy texture is preferred for Korean lash lifts, as it has a slightly softer feel and allows lashes to glide and adhere more smoothly during the wrapping process.
Artist Notes:
Always tape down the inner and outer corners securely when using these shields to maintain even tension and prevent lifting during the procedure. Wrap the lashes tightly and precisely for best results.
Note that these shields are not ideal for hooded eyes, as the protrusion may cause the shield to come into contact with the eyelid. In those cases, choose a shield with a deeper base curve to create more space.
